Candle Care

Scented Soy Candle

  • Never leave the candle unattended

  • Keep your candle on a heat resistant surface

  • Keep your candle in a cool dry place and away from direct sunlight

  • Try not to move the candle while it is alight

  • Burn the candle to the edge of the vessel on the first light

  • Recenter the wick if needed, to ensure it doesn’t overheat one side of the vessel

  • Always trim the wick before each light

  • Do not burn your candle in long periods, as it may overheat.

  • Discontinue use once there is 1.5cm of wax left

  • Once finished, why not reuse the vessel?

Beeswax Candle

If you have one of our Beeswax candles, you may notice that the candle will eventually bloom. Blooming is a natural process of the Beeswax (we do not use additives), so a white film/dust will appear on the outside of your candle. This is perfectly fine and won’t affect the burning experience.

Don’t like the Bloom? Simply use a damp cloth and wipe your candle to make it all shiny and new again. Please note it will eventually come back after a few weeks.

If you are planning on burning your Beeswax candle, please ensure you use a candlestick holder or pillar plate. Due to the shapes of our candles, the candles will likely drip, so using a holder or plate will catch any wax and will protect your furniture.
